How do I use a Gotta Pee Bag?

It’s as easy as 1-2-Pee: 
1. Place your hand in the empty bag to open it fully, then use your fingers and thumb to squeeze the bag open
2. Hold the bag close to your body while you pee and seal the zipper when you’re done
3. Empty the bag and reuse it or toss it in the trash

How much pee does a Gotta Pee Bag hold?

Our pee bags hold about 850mL (29 Fluid Oz.)
For reference, an average adult pee is 250 to 500mL

Is the Gotta Pee Bag reusable?

Yes, our bag is designed to be durable and reusable.
Just empty the bag, rinse, dry, and reuse.

Why do two Gotta Pee Bags cost $24?

I know, sounds expensive for a couple plastic bags.

The reason for the price is that our bag is custom designed, molded, and manufactured using 100% recycled plastic.

We didn’t skimp on design or materials, it’s reusable, and you gotta admit — fun to look at.
Also - shipping is free for you, but definitely not free for us.
How does the Gotta Pee Bag subscription work?

We ship you two pee bags per month all year and you only pay $20.40 per month (that’s a 15% discount).
Shipping is free and you can cancel any time.
Is the Gotta Pee Bag recycled or recycleable?

Our bags are made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic.
Unfortunately, it’s very rare for recycling facilities in the U.S. to accept plastic bags.

Why did you start Gotta Pee?

My day job is building apparel brands and creative strategy. But one fateful day in May 2025, I was forced to use a Trader Joe’s Cashew bag for an emergency pee while driving from LA to Baja. It was such a lifesaver, I designed an even better version of the cashew bag for others in desperate need of pee relief.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
Can't I just pee behind a bush?

Sure — we do too — as long as it’s not in a sensitive ecological area.
But plenty of times there’s no bush, no cover, no privacy — and that’s where a pee bag comes in.
Are there other pee products on the market?

Yes, and I’ve checked them all out — most are bulky, ugly, overpriced, and look like they belong in a hospital.

I believe the simplest solution is usually the best — in life and in design.
That’s why I knew my simple pee bag could be better than the other products out there.

When I designed the Gotta Pee Bags I had 5 non-negotiables:
Work in any situation — the Trader Joe’s bags worked, but I made them better
Easy to stash — fits in purse, pocket, glove box, camping gear, luggage, etc.
Discrete — no one should be embarrassed to carry it
Reusable & recycled — durable and eco-minded
Look good — because design matters and this is not juice!
